Carl Schmid
Carl Schmid has lived and worked around Shoreditch, Islington and London Fields since 1996. With prior experience in the fields of finance, advertising and construction he began working in Estate Agency in 2001. He worked at board level for a reputable independent estate agent in Central London for a number of years before he left to set up Fyfe Mcdade in 2007 with fellow local Ray Smith. Specialising in Land & New Homes, Carl has advised on the development, design and marketing of numerous central London developments and his clients include some of London’s most prolific developers, including United House, London & Regional and Noble House Properties.
Ray Smith
With a background in architecture, Ray Smith began working for an independent estate agency in Glasgow in 1998, before relocating to London a couple of years later. He headed up a franchised office of a national chain of estate agents in Stoke Newington for a couple of years before being head hunted to drive forward the flagship Upper Street office of one of North London’s premier independent estate agents. He was quickly promoted to board level and was instrumental in doubling profit and turnover of this business before leaving to set up Fyfe Mcdade with Carl Schmid. Ray has lived around the boroughs of Islington, Hackney and Camden for most of the last decade and is extremely passionate about this part of central London and all it has to offer.
